Radio Assignment Ideas and Treatment/ Draft Scripts

Treatment for Advert Idea 1: Initial build up teaser video
The client I am creating my advert for is South Downs College and the target audience is for parents, staff and the local community. It is also important for the advert to appeal to prospective students that are looking to attend the college. For my first idea I have thought about mostly using sound effects as a structure for my advert. The different sound effects I used will represent all the variety of parts that make up and our related to our cinema event. My first commercial will be a teaser with a sense of mystery and intrigue, by releasing as little information as possible. I am planning to tackle this by using a variety of sound effects and putting them all together. For example the types of sounds effects we could use are laughing, clapping (symbolising the awards ceremony), clanging of glasses to represent celebration etc. The voice over I thought about using for my first idea was both a young female ad male voice over to engage both sexes to attend the event. By using a young voice over it will be highly engaging to listen too and give off energetic and enthusiastic vibes.

Draft Script- Idea 1
(Girl) "Fast!"- Racing car sound effect
(Boy) "Fun!" Laughing sound effect
(Girl) "Unique!" ooooh sound effect
Then in a canon effect one after another sound effects to do with the event will be heard.
Cooking noise ( Sizzling off sausages) - Represents hot dog stall
Drinking beens pours and clanging off glasses
Clapping
Snapshot sound effects - Representing the Photo Booth
Beeping of car horns
Explosion and then a count down 3,2,1
(Boy) "Coming soon  the 9th June!"
(Girl) "For more information visit our Facebook page #KeepItSecret!

Treatment for Advert Idea 2: Released just before the event (around the 22nd May 2017)
The client I am creating my advert for is South Downs College and the target audience is for parents, staff and the local community. It is also important for the advert to appeal to prospective students that and are looking to attend the college. For my second advert idea I am hoping to make it exciting and fun filled as the event is just round the corner and I want to hype the audience up! Moreover as the event is considerably closer there will be a lot more relevant information that will be given away about the day as it is important the audience know crucial information.  For my second idea I will be using one female voice over for this advert to keep it simple and so there's not too many different types of voices to listen to and focus on as a listener. At this time we are a lot closer to the event and the "secret" is starting to be revealed. I will be combining ideas from my fist advert idea by using some effects of things related to the event, however this time with more words, information and promotional materials such as our Hashtag for the event.
